Last Chance Splash Waterpark & Pool
Starting June 17th, your kiddos favorite place is opening back up for the summer. Until August 16th, enjoy this beautiful 50-meter outdoor pool, which has lanes for lap swimming all day, swim lessons in both the morning and evening and recreational swimming in the afternoon. Additionally, there is a diving well, splash pad, two waterslides, a zero-depth pool and lazy river. Even as an added bonus they offer a few different exercise classes, coach led swim workouts, water walking and a water polo league. A concession stand with refreshments and snacks is also available for a long day by the pool.

Spring Meadow Lake Park
On the west side of Helena sits a local favorite: Spring Meadow. This park offers an array of activities, especially in the summer. It’s a popular spot for sunbathing, swimming, paddleboarding, fishing, and even bird watching. Whether you’re planning a weekday picnic with friends or a fun-filled Saturday of fishing and wildlife watching, Spring Meadow is the perfect destination.The park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., but please note that from April 15th to October 15th, your four-legged friends can’t join in on the fun. Farmers Market
Every Saturday, Fuller Avenue transforms into a bustling hub for Helena’s Farmers Market. Montana Wild is the ultimate destination for conservation education brought to you by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP). Nestled on the west side of Helena, right next to the scenic Spring Meadow Lake State Park, our center is a haven for nature enthusiasts of all ages. They offer engaging exhibits, featuring interactive activities that bring Montana’s great outdoors to life. Don’t miss out on their live Montana fish aquarium, where you can get up close and personal with the state’s aquatic inhabitants. But that’s not all—Montana Wild offers a variety of educational programs throughout the year. From wildlife conservation to outdoor skills, there’s always something new to learn and experience. Their doors are open and admission is free, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
